Grinding is where precision parts are finished. METALEC's surface and cylindrical grinding capability delivers the tight tolerances, precision fits and outstanding surface finishes that critical engineering components demand — the final microns that machining alone cannot reliably remove.

Surface grinding brings plates, rails and tooling details to exact thickness with flatness and parallelism measured in microns. Cylindrical grinding does the same for rotational parts, finishing bearing journals, sealing diameters and press-fit features to size with roundness and surface quality that turning cannot match — especially on hardened components.

Grinding at METALEC is tightly coupled to our toolmaking and production machining. Hardened die details, fixture rails, gauges and precision shafts routinely pass from heat treatment through grinding to CMM verification, closing the loop on tolerance chains as fine as 5 microns and giving assemblies the fits their designers intended.
