Well-engineered work-holding is one of the highest-leverage investments in any production process. METALEC designs and manufactures precision jigs, fixtures, gauges and work-holding systems that improve manufacturing accuracy, repeatability and production efficiency — for our customers' factories and for our own.

A good fixture removes variation at the source. Parts locate the same way every cycle, clamping forces are controlled and repeatable, and operators load and unload quickly without judgement calls. Machining fixtures shorten cycle times and protect tolerances; welding fixtures hold assemblies true against distortion; assembly and inspection fixtures make the right way the fast way.

Our fixture work draws on the full workshop — milled and ground locating details, hardened wear surfaces, EDM-cut profiles and fabricated bases — and every fixture is validated against the components it will carry before delivery. We also design and build inspection fixtures and gauges that give production teams fast, repeatable go/no-go answers without tying up a CMM.
