Horizontal Machining Centers (HMC)

Our Horizontal Machining Centers are designed for high-precision, multi-face machining of complex components with superior productivity and repeatability. With the spindle presented horizontally and parts mounted on indexing tombstones, an HMC machines several faces of a component — or several components at once — in a single cycle.

HMC technology minimises setup time and operator intervention. Chips fall away from the cutting zone instead of recutting, which improves tool life, surface finish and thermal stability across long production runs. Pallet changing keeps the spindle cutting while the next job is loaded, giving consistent cycle-to-cycle quality that vertical machines struggle to match at volume.

That combination — multi-face access, unattended running and process stability — makes our HMC capacity the natural home for high-volume production and demanding engineering applications where every part must be identical to the last.
